Barbara G. White, LMT, MTI, BCTMB, CLT, CDT, ALM, Owner, MTEC Director

Barbara White has been a licensed Massage Therapist since 1999, with over two decades of clinical experience and educational leadership in the field of therapeutic bodywork. Her diverse training spans Neuromuscular Therapy, Myofascial Release, and a wide array of non-Western modalities, including Thai Massage, Shiatsu, Reflexology, Ayurvedic Treatments, and LomiLomi Hawaiian Massage. Her practice has long focused on treating chronic pain, structural imbalance, and complex lymphatic conditions through evidence-based therapeutic techniques.

Barbara is highly credentialed in the field of lymphatic therapy. She holds five distinct certifications, including:

  • Certified Lymphedema Therapist (CLT),
  • Certified in Complete Decongestive Therapy (CDT),
  • Advanced Lymphedema Management (ALM),
  • Head and Neck Lymphedema Certification,
  • Neuro-Lymphatic Therapy Certification

In addition, she is trained in both Chikly Method and Vodder techniques, expanding her ability to provide targeted support for swelling, post-operative recovery, Cancer Recovery and nervous system regulation.

Barbara currently specializes in Manual Lymphatic Drainage (MLD) with a clinical focus on lymphedema management, post-operative recovery, and neuro-lymphatic therapy. In addition to her expertise in lymphatic care, she integrates Myofascial Release, Thai Massage, Shiatsu, LomiLomi Hawaiian Massage, and select Spa Therapies to provide a comprehensive, therapeutic experience tailored to each client’s healing needs. Her work is grounded in both advanced clinical training and a deep commitment to wellness through touch.

In addition to her clinical expertise, Barbara is a passionate and accomplished educator. She began her journey in massage education in 2001 by founding Academy for the Healing Arts. Although the school later closed due to hurricanes Rita and Ike, Barbara continued to make a lasting impact by teaching at the Louisiana Institute of Massage Therapy and establishing the massage therapy program at Vista College in Beaumont, TX, where she served as Program Chair and Lead Instructor. In 2008, she launched Barbara White Seminars, a nationally certified continuing education provider (NCBTMB Approved Provider), through which she has taught licensed massage therapists across Texas, Louisiana, Florida, and Georgia, North Carolina, Tennessee, Arkansas and Michigan—offering over 64 continuing education programs. Her engaging, hands-on teaching style helps practitioners deepen their understanding of theory and refine their technique. In 2024, Barbara expanded her educational legacy even further by opening the Massage Therapy Education Center, a state-licensed hybrid massage school that blends flexible online coursework with immersive, in-person technique training. Through this venture, she continues to shape the future of massage therapy with innovation, integrity, and a deep commitment to excellence.

Barbara’s contributions to the field include the development and publication of multiple massage therapy curriculum and CEU programs. Through her combined work as a therapist, educator, and curriculum designer, she brings exceptional professionalism and a deep sense of purpose to every session and seminar.

Her belief in bodywork as a powerful tool for healing, transformation, and lifelong wellness is at the heart of everything she does.


Nalee-Ann Phetsilasack, Office Manager, MTEC Admin

With a dual degree in Political Science and Legal Studies, Nalee-Ann brings sharp insight, organization, and a warm presence to everything she does. Before joining our team, she worked as a corporate trainer in the insurance industry, where she specialized in staff development, operations, and high-level administrative coordination.

Today, she serves as the voice, face, and backbone of our operations—Greeting with warmth to clients as soon as they walk through our doors, all while delegating behind-the-scenes work that keeps everything running smoothly. Nalee-Ann plays a vital role across all branches of our business, supporting Lymphatic & Massage Studio, Barbara White Seminars, and the Massage Therapy Education Center.

Her ability to manage complex logistics with grace allows her to transform the busy energy of the workplace into a calm, peaceful environment for both clients and staff. Whether she’s answering calls, coordinating schedules, or quietly handling the daily demands of three active businesses, Nalee-Ann does it all with heart, clarity, and a smile.


Karen French, LMT

Karen French is a skilled and intuitive massage therapist whose work is grounded in both strong technique and genuine compassion. A graduate of The Louisiana Institute of Massage Therapy—one of the most respected massage schools in the region—Karen brings a deep-rooted commitment to the healing arts and a well-rounded foundation in therapeutic bodywork.

She specializes in a variety of modalities, including Swedish Massage, Prenatal Massage, Hot Stone Therapy, Deep Tissue Massage, and Manual Lymphatic Drainage. Her sessions are thoughtfully tailored to reduce stress, release muscular tension, and support the body’s natural healing process. With a strong belief in the power of movement and breath, Karen also incorporates therapeutic stretching to enhance flexibility and relaxation.

Karen has been trained in Myofascial Release through the John Barnes Method, under the instruction of Barbara White, adding depth and versatility to her therapeutic approach. Her work blends structure and sensitivity—guided by a strong sense of intuition and a commitment to open communication with her clients.

Whether addressing chronic pain, supporting prenatal wellness, or simply helping clients unwind, Karen offers a nurturing presence and a skilled touch that make each session uniquely effective and deeply restorative.


Erin Barrows, LMT, MFR, MMP, CTLC, RHC, RYT

Erin Barrows is a truly dynamic and heart-centered practitioner who brings a rare blend of therapeutic expertise, intuitive wisdom, and soulful presence to her work. A graduate of Academy for the Healing Arts in 2006—a massage school founded and led by Barbara White—Erin began her journey under Barbara’s mentorship and has now come full circle to reunite with her teacher and join the team once again.

As the founder of Body Be Spoken in Beaumont, TX, Erin has been facilitating Transformational Healing since 2006, offering sessions that reach beyond the physical to address the mental, emotional, and spiritual layers of well-being. She is known for her powerful ability to help clients uncover and release deep-seated blockages, restore balance, and reconnect with their inner truth. Her signature saying, “It’s never too late to heal yourself…the trick is, that you have a YES for YOU and you start somewhere!” beautifully reflects the heart of her approach.

Erin’s work is a one-of-a-kind integration of Massage Therapy, Myofascial Release, Energy Work, Breathwork, Therapeutic Yoga, and Guided Coaching. Her sessions are far more than bodywork—they are transformational experiences tailored to support deep healing, empowerment, and lasting change. With warmth, deep listening, and intuitive precision, Erin creates a safe, nurturing space for every client to explore healing at their own pace.

Since 2011, she has led Yoga Therapeutics classes and programs focused on physical and mental rehabilitation, and in 2017, she expanded her healing practice as a Transformational Life and Support Coach. She is also a Certified Enlightened Iridologist, using the eyes as a window into the body’s energetic and emotional systems.

Erin is, without question, absolutely amazing at what she does. Her work is not only effective—it’s deeply moving. With her unique integration of massage therapy and energy work, Erin offers a profoundly personalized experience that honors the whole person and inspires genuine transformation.


Ronald White, LMT, MTI, BM, MM, MTEC Co-Director

We are honored to officially welcome Ronald White—a foundational member of our community and a steady guiding presence behind the scenes—as a massage therapist, instructor, and Co-Director of Massage Therapy Education Center. While Ronald may be newly featured on the schedule, he has always been part of the heart and history of our work.

Ronald has stood alongside Barbara White through every chapter of her professional journey, from founding Academy for the Healing Arts to building Lymphatic & Massage Studio and now Massage Therapy Education Center. As Barbara’s husband and long-time partner in both life and business, Ronald has been a quiet yet powerful force in supporting and sustaining the vision of massage education in Southeast Texas.

With over 20 years of teaching experience, Ronald brings a depth of knowledge and patience to the classroom that students and colleagues deeply value. He is a seasoned instructor who blends clinical skill with a natural ability to inspire and connect. His massage specialties include Neuromuscular Therapy, Deep Tissue, Therapeutic Massage, and Swedish Massage—techniques he studied directly under Barbara White.

In addition to his work in massage and education, Ronald holds a formal education in music and is a classically trained clarinetist. He has spent decades performing and conducting with the Symphony of Southeast Texas, where he continues to share his artistry and passion. His background in music adds a unique layer of harmony, rhythm, and sensitivity to his massage practice, often bringing a deeply intuitive flow to his bodywork.

Ronald’s presence is one of calm leadership, grounded support, and quiet excellence. Whether he’s leading in the classroom, offering therapeutic care, or conducting a symphonic performance, Ronald brings his full heart, refined skill, and unwavering dedication to everything he does.


Sadie Malmberg, LMT

Sadie Malmberg brings a beautiful blend of strength, grace, and serenity to the healing space. A licensed massage therapist since 2012, Sadie has always felt a natural calling toward bodywork. Her approach is deeply personal and refreshingly intuitive, grounded in the belief that no two bodies—and no two massages—are ever the same.

Specializing in relaxation and stress relief, Sadie is known for helping her clients release the weight of the world and reconnect with a sense of peace. Her touch is simultaneously gentle and grounding, allowing the nervous system to settle and the body to begin its natural process of healing. She also integrates deep tissue work, carefully tailored to each client’s area of concern, supporting both pain relief and long-term recovery.

Sadie continuously furthers her education, exploring therapies that complement her clients’ unique needs and goals. She draws from a variety of techniques, artfully blending them into each session to address both physical tension and emotional well-being. Her sessions often reflect her interest in feng shui principles, creating a space that feels not only healing—but truly enjoyable and harmonious.

Beyond her professional skill, Sadie brings a creative and artistic soul to her practice. In her personal time, she enjoys hands-on artistic hobbies, and this thoughtful, aesthetic sensibility naturally flows into her massage work. Each session is approached like a work of art—crafted with intention, care, and quiet power.


Raymond Lambeth, LMT

Raymond Lambeth brings a refreshing energy, compassionate heart, and growing expertise to every client interaction. Trained in a wide range of modalities, Raymond’s skills include Hot Stone Therapy, Hot Bamboo Massage, Facial Rejuvenation Techniques, Neuromuscular Therapy, and most notably, Manual Lymphatic Drainage—the foundation of his current practice and future specialization.

Raymond is pursues Certification in Complete Decongestive Therapy (CDT) through the Academy of Lymphatic Studies, with the goal of becoming a Certified Lymphedema Therapist (CLT). His next step is to advance his training in Myofascial Release, allowing him to better address structural pain patterns and provide more comprehensive care.

Deeply committed to service, Raymond has a heartfelt passion for working with veterans. He sees his work as one small way to honor those who have sacrificed so much, and he approaches each session with deep respect, presence, and a desire to give back.

Known for his uplifting spirit and lighthearted nature, Raymond brings a youthful brightness to the studio that puts clients at ease the moment they meet him. His presence is calming, his demeanor sincere, and his dedication to client care is evident in everything he does.


Kelly Inman, LMT

With over 25 years of experience in healthcare, Kelly Inman brings a deep-rooted passion for healing and holistic wellness to every session. Her journey into massage therapy was a natural extension of a lifelong commitment to helping others feel their best—physically, emotionally, and energetically.

Kelly specializes in Deep Tissue Massage and Manual Lymphatic Drainage, offering focused therapeutic bodywork designed to relieve pain, reduce inflammation, and support the body’s natural healing process. Whether you’re recovering from surgery or managing chronic tension, she provides care that is both precise and deeply nurturing.

Her approach is grounded in personalized, intuitive treatment within a calm and supportive environment. Kelly believes that healing is more than a service—it’s a partnership. She works closely with each client to ensure their body feels safe, heard, and supported on the path to recovery.

With every session, Kelly creates a space where the body can restore, recover, and thrive—inviting wellness in every form


Allyce Garcia, LMT

Ally has always been drawn to the healing arts, combining a deep curiosity for the science behind the body with a heartfelt desire to help others feel their best. Over the past year, Ally has been immersed in learning and mastering the techniques of massage therapy, dedicating herself to developing both skill and intuition in her practice.

Her journey is fueled by a passion to relieve pain and support wellness—not just in people, but in animals as well. With a growing foundation in various massage modalities, Ally aims to expand her knowledge to offer therapeutic care across species, always approaching each client with empathy, precision, and a deep respect for the body’s natural ability to heal.

Ally brings a fresh, motivated energy to the field and is committed to learning, growing, and contributing to the well-being of others—one massage at a time.


Maddison Leaven, BSC, LMT

Maddison brings both heart and dedication to her massage therapy practice. Her journey began with a lifelong passion for sports and fitness, which led her to earn a Bachelor’s degree in Kinesiology from Prairie View A&M University. There, she developed a deep understanding of human movement, athletic performance, and injury prevention. She later graduated from the Massage Therapy Program at Lamar State College–Orange, where she combined her academic foundation with hands-on training to provide effective and personalized care. As a proud member of the Army Reserves, Maddison understands the importance of discipline, resilience, and recovery. Supporting veterans is especially close to her heart, and she is committed to creating a space where they feel cared for and empowered in their wellness journey. Guided by her background in sports and fitness, Maddison tailors her approach to help athletes, active individuals, and everyday clients improve mobility, enhance performance, and recover more efficiently.
